Two feet by a foot and a half. This is the board you bring out when there are twelve people and everything has to go on one surface — the cheeses, the cured meat, the grapes, the little bowl of olives, the crackers fanned along the edge.
At that size it stops being a board and becomes the table's centerpiece. Solid walnut, dark and close-grained, so pale food reads sharply against it.
Choose it with a juice groove alone, or with handles cut into the ends. The handles matter more than they sound at this size — fully loaded, this is not a light thing to move.
It arrives seasoned with a first coat of food-safe mineral oil and comes with a care guide. Made in Ohio from kiln-dried American hardwood.
