Hot food is the hardest part of hosting. The usual answer is a chafing dish — open flame, fuel canisters, a pan of scalding water to fill and drain. Equipment that belongs in a catering tent, not on a table you set yourself.
The Dubler HEAT works differently. Microwave the two heat packs, drop them in, add your pans straight from the oven, and cover. Insulation holds the temperature for hours with no flame, no fuel, and no water to carry. The outside stays cool enough to move mid-meal, and nothing gutters out in a breeze on the patio.
It also holds more than it appears to. Pans go up to four inches deep where a standard chafer takes two and a half, and it sits lower on the table, so reaching across for a second helping is easier.
The same piece works cold. Leave the heat packs out and it's an insulated beverage tub or a chilled server for shrimp, salads, and cut fruit. Add the Chill Boards and it becomes a charcuterie display. Or run it split — something warm on one side, bottles on ice on the other.
